Six squares are coloured, front and back, red (R), blue (B), yellow (Y), green (G), white (W) orange (O) and are hinged together as shown in the figure below. If they were folded to form a cube, what would be the face opposite to white face?

  1. A.R
  2. B.G
  3. C.B
  4. D.O
▶ Answer & Explanation

Correct answer: D. O

When a net of a cube is folded, faces that are separated by one face on the net become opposite to each other. In the given figure, if we consider the arrangement of the squares, the white face is adjacent to green, yellow, and orange faces. By visualizing the folding process, the face opposite to the white face can be determined to be the orange face.
