The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is a global initiative aimed at reducing short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs). While it collaborates with various international bodies and countries, it is not exclusively a G20 initiative; it involves more than 70 partner countries and numerous non-state actors. The coalition specifically targets pollutants like methane, black carbon, and hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) because of their significant short-term warming potential and their co-benefits for air quality and human health.
