The Mahadeo Hills are an extension of the Satpura Range, located in central India, forming part of the Vindhya-Satpura complex. The Mikir Hills (now Karbi Anglong Plateau) are situated in the Northeast Indian state of Assam, known for their distinct geological formation separate from the Himalayas. The Cardamom Hills are part of the Western Ghats in Kerala, bordering the Coromandel Coast only by geographical proximity, not as a direct extension. The Kaimur Hills are located in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, forming the northern spur of the Satpura Range, and are not associated with the Konkan Coast.
