The Brahmaputra River, known as Tsangpo in Tibet, flows eastwards through Arunachal Pradesh and Assam before entering Bangladesh. Its major tributaries in India include the Dibang, Lohit, and Subansiri, all of which are part of the river's significant drainage system in the northeastern part of the country.
