▶ Answer & Explanation

Correct answer: B. 2 only

River Teesta originates from theCholamu Lake in Sikkim, which is distinct from the source of the Brahmaputra (Chemayungdung Glacier in Tibet). The River Rangeet, a significant tributary, also originates in Sikkim and joins the Teesta. The Teesta river ultimately merges with the Brahmaputra (known as Jamuna in Bangladesh) before flowing into the Bay of Bengal, but its confluence with the Brahmaputra is within Bangladesh, not directly on the India-Bangladesh border as a sole entry point to the Bay of Bengal.
