The Jhelum River is integral to the formation and sustenance of Wular Lake, a significant freshwater lake in Kashmir. Kolleru Lake is primarily fed by the Godavari and Krishna rivers, but the Krishna river does not directly feed into it; rather, its distributaries and other smaller streams contribute. Kanwar Lake, also known as KANWAR TAL, is indeed a ox-bow lake formed by the meandering of the Gandak River, which is a tributary of the Ganges.
