The Rann of Kutch is a vast salt marsh located in Gujarat. It is believed to have formed due to geological changes and regression of the sea over time. Repeated submergence and emergence of land, coupled with arid conditions, have led to the formation of this extensive marshland, which is characterized by salt-encrusted flats and seasonal inundation.
