Correct answer: A. 1 only
The Ninth Schedule was introduced by the Constitution (First Amendment) Act, 1951, to protect certain laws from judicial review. Parliament has the power to add laws to this schedule. While originally intended to shield laws from scrutiny, the Supreme Court has, in subsequent judgments, held that laws placed in the Ninth Schedule after April 24, 1973, are subject to judicial review if they violate fundamental rights.
