Delimitation Commissions are constitutional bodies tasked with redrawing the boundaries of constituencies based on census data. Such commissions have been established in India four times: in 1952, 1963, 1973, and most recently in 2002. These commissions are constituted by the Central Government under the provisions of Articles 82 and 170 of the Constitution.
